Aristocratic clothes were originated in Byzantium. Women were wearing several garments, one to another. It had broad long tunic shirts with narrow sleeves, and a wide top. This multi-layered costume was the main feature in the fashion of the middle Ages. Empress worn a coat made of silk with a wide ribbon over her beautiful patterned tunic. Luxurious headpiece with pearl pendants, rich trim on the dress, beads, ribbons, and jewels made the suit a precious work of art. Aristocracy worn also decorated richly with ribbons and rhinestones tunics with diagonally notched hem. Today, women do not dress necessarily such way to look fashionable and elegant. Although multilayered dresses made of pure silk are a noble clothes but also simple cut dress made of chic material will look elegant. Single-layered chiffon dresses-case with a ribbon under the breast and breeches made of simpler tissues are a choice of modern ladies. Fashion designers offer various options for women dresses. This is a strict office dress for a business lady. This is the original model for young girls. Recently I saw a collection of dresses made of fine bright chiffon and chiffon with floral print. A highlight of these models is that these dresses are made of two parts. Narrow linen dress with thin spaghetti straps is combined with a wide chiffon dress. This may be a dress shirt or dress with a ruched faux. This is a good choice for a summer evening.

There are several reasons to say that silk is one of the most aristocratic and charming material. It is amazingly strong, yet sensuously soft, caressing and exciting.
